The Rotary Club of Tallahassee is proud to have played a significant role in supporting our community through WCTV’s Kindness Day. Thanks to the incredible success of Roast 2024, we were able to make a generous donation of $15,000 to the Second Harvest Pantry Program.
Kindness Day, a cherished annual event, highlights the power of giving and collective effort. This year, our club was well-represented by members Maureen, Kelley, Eric, and Pam, who joined in the Kindness Day activities to present the donation and promote the spirit of service that defines Rotary.
In an extraordinary act of generosity, Werner Hyundai matched our contribution with an additional $5,000, bringing the total donation to an impressive $20,000. These funds will help Second Harvest continue its mission of fighting hunger and ensuring food security for families in need throughout our community.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported Roast 2024 and made this impactful donation possible. Together, we’ve made a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. Let’s continue to be a beacon of hope and kindness in Tallahassee and beyond!
