Overdose deaths are continuing to rise in our community. The Rotary Club of Tallahassee and Rotary Action Group Addiction Prevention North America, in collaboration with Hikma Pharmaceuticals, are taking the lead and have trained community citizens for free on the administration of Kloxxado, a new stronger Naloxone that lasts longer, works faster and is more effective in reversing overdose and saving lives. Our goal is to get 20% of our population trained in order to make a significant impact. Would you like to arrange a training for a group?

About Project SMART
Project SMART is the first and only multi-disciplinary project geared to eradicate addiction. Decades of failed policies have torn families apart and left devastating losses in our communities. Newer, stronger drugs are flooding the market, making now more important than ever for intervention.
Rotary Action Group Addiction Prevention (RAGAP) North America provides local rotary clubs with all the necessary tools and programs to make an impact, save lives and eradicate addiction through a sustainable project. Check out the news coverage The Rotary Club of Tallahassee received on the Naloxone training session held on November 1, 2023. The training was led by Mariah Kill and several Rotarians received their training and free Naloxone kits.
