The Rotary Club of Tallahassee was chartered on November 10, 1922. Today it occupies a special place in the Tallahassee community, as the oldest and largest service club. Important to members and view of the community needs. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community’s business and professional men and women. Rotary International clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. We meet at Noon on Wednesdays at the Florida State University Alumni Center Ballroom,1030 W. Tennessee Street, Tallahassee, FL 32304

The main objective of Rotary is service, in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today’s most critical issues.

The Rotary Club of Tallahassee recognizes Rotarian members who best demonstrate Rotary's ideal of Service Above Self, by volunteering their time and talents to help others in our club and community during the current Rotary Year.
Nominations due by: June 1, 2024
All nominations should be emailed to the Chair of the Service Above Self Subcommittee Sheryl Barlow srblmnop@gmail.com who will forward them to the Committee members in accordance with the Club Bylaws and the Sub-Committee's written procedures. Overdose deaths are continuing to rise in our community. The Rotary Club of Tallahassee and Rotary Action Group Addiction Prevention North America, in collaboration with Hikma Pharmaceuticals, are taking the lead and have trained community citizens on the administration of Kloxxado, a new stronger Naloxone that lasts longer, works faster, and is more effective in reversing overdose and saving lives. It is considered a life-saving drug.Our trainers provide a training session on how to administer Naloxone. The training session is completed within an hour.
Important: Preregistration is necessary to ensure the appropriate number of FREE Kloxxado Kits available.
